Zeus sat at the head of the table, a smiling adjourning his face as he watched the many antics of his family take place. The dinner spread was as magnificent as any other that had taken place on Mount Olympus, but Zeus couldn't help but feel like this one was special. Maybe his son Ares would suddenly stop hating him for no reason or his daughter Athena would FINALLY agree to get married, or Hera apologize for being so naggy and jealous all the damn time. Anything was possible he was just hoping it was good.

Hephaestus slowly walked to the table where everyone was gathering. Her hair was messily in a ponytail, her face grimy and messy. The goddess had been busy in the forge all day, with no time to rest. She carefully sat down, as far away from her parents as possible. For about 15 minutes straight, she stayed completely still and silent.

Meanwhile, In the underworld, Hades was pacing impatiently. It wasn't unusually for Zeus to hold family dinners, but this felt different. There was something in the fates that made this seem important. Frowning, screamed for his wife. If zeus was planning something, he would not be taken blind. This was one family dinner he would not miss.

Hera sat next to Zeus. She was practically ignoring him,but she glared at everyone else, watching their every move. The goddess seemed angry for no reason. I mean, usually she had at least some reason but today she was just randomly angry. But you can't really blame her, she had to see all these damned kids of Zues that weren't hers.

Athena was in the library all day, reading, devising strategies and whatnot. Her father called her to the grand dining room and now here she was just sitting down and writing a book, far away from Zeus as possible ever since a little birdie told her that he ate her mother when she was pregnant. "How long will this take? I need to do something." she asked monotonely.
